At Blossom House Bureau of Domestic Violence, we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and nurturing a society where every individual can thrive in safety, dignity, and empowerment. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support, advocacy, and education to survivors of domestic violence -- fostering healing, resilience, and hope.

Domestic Violence (abuse)

A pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner.

Physical Abuse

Physical abuse usually increases over time, becomes more violent, and is a crime.

It can include:

• Pushing or Shoving

• Punching or Hitting

• Slapping or Kicking

• Throwing Objects

• Using a Weapon

• Choking

• Holding you down

• Biting or Burning

• Physical Threats

• Reckless Driving

Other Forms of Abuse

Domestic Violence comes in many forms. Physical, Psychological, Emotional, Financial, and Sexual are just some of the ways.

It can also include:

• Cyber Attacks

• Bullying

• Disability Abuse

• Elder Abuse

• Intimidation

• Isolation

• Keeping You Trapped

• Humiliation

• Extreme Jealousy

• Stalking
